HotSpot Production Music library is the brainchild of Michael Bard and born from the creative fires of his experience as a film, television and commercial composer for over 20 years. The concept is simple: collect the best music in all genres, some produced specifically for TV, Film and Radio, and some culled from commercially available recordings by top artists from around the country, then index it into an easily searchable database, making it easy for producers and engineers to audition, download and license it for virtually any use. Michael is joined by Brad Spradlin as they find, collect, index and market this treasure trove of tracks.
Since touring with Stan Kenton
and his Orchestra in the late
70s, Chicago native Michael
Bard has spent the last 20
years in the Northwest as a
composer, professional
musician and audio post
production engineer. A
member of the Cinema Audio
Society, Michael scores music
for TV, Film and radio, along with
acting as Sound Supervisor for
many feature length films. His
work has been Oscar nominated,
and he has twice received advertising's highest honor-
the Clio.
Brad came to StudioBard with years of experience at
major post-production houses in Burbank, CA. After
working at Modern VideoFilm, 4MC and Digital Image, Brad
moved to Portland and landed at StudioBard. With decades
of experience in studio music recording and live sound
reinforcement, he specializes in radio, film and television,
audio post production, sound design and foley. Brad is the main administrator at HotSpot, and one hell of a drummer!
